WHO WE ARE.

Rad Dads Edmonton Chapter is a group of fathers promoting and modelling positive parenting, and the empowerment of dads. We encourage dads to be involved in the lives of their children and our community at large.  We host events, donate time and create fun outings for the whole family to enjoy. 

POSITIVE PARENTING

To us, positive parenting means a lot of different things – faith, integrity, hope, courage, initiative, generosity, tolerance, kindliness and common sense.  Our Rad Dads chapter strives to make positive impacts in the lives of our kids and Edmonton, at large. We don't ascribe to one parenting philosophy, we believe that there is always room to grow and improve on what we do as dads.  Part of growth is getting together with other dads to talk about the trials, tribulations and triumphs that we face as caregivers.

EMPOWERMENT

Rad Dads works to empower fathers in the Edmonton area by hosting events that create a place where we can share ideas and maybe most importantly – a beer or two. Held quarterly, the dads-only events have a guest speaker, as well as resources and social time. And did we mention beer? Every meeting has a local cask on tap, special for the occasion.

INVOLVEMENT

Rad Dads Edmonton Chapter creates family fun events that help bring children and parents together. From Lego building to rock concerts, we are committed to fostering and growing safe spaces for families to spend time together creating memories.
